1. What is the purpose of PostYourHome.com?
PostYourHome.com is designed to help Real Estate professionals effectively market their clients’ homes to a larger market. By having the agents contact information included on their tour, we also help the Real Estate professionals to market themselves and their services.
 
 
2. How many Virtual Tours/houses can I have on my PHY account?
Once you are a client of PYH, you may have as many Virtual Tours/houses as you like.
 
 
 
3. Can I build a printable flyer for distribution?
Yes, using the PostYourHome software, a flyer is automatically generated in the populare format of Adobe PDF. You can select "download PDF Flyer" in the tour you have created and download it to your computer then print or email it to someone.
 
 
 
4. Can I send this flyer in an e-mail?
Yes, this flyer will be saved as a PDF format.
Note: You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the flyer.
 

5. How many images can I have per Virtual Tour/house?

As a PYH client you can have as many images per Virtual Tour/house as you like.

6. Are images the only thing a PYH Virtual Tour will have?
Yes, currently JPEG images are the only format PYH will accept. We are planning to expand our system to accept both Quicktime and Windows Media Player in a later release.
 
 
7. Can I upload videos or the 360 degree images?
No, as the demand grows PYH will provide the ability for uploading web enabled videos as well as Immersive Technologie such as 360 degree images.
 
8. Will the images download quickly?
Yes, depending on the user’s connection speed. As images are uploaded into the Virtual Tour, PYH software will recalculate the images to a more manageable size enabling them download quickly. Please note: Maximum file size is 1.5 MB!
 
 
 
9. My digital camera takes big pictures that take a long time to upload. Is there something I can do about that?
Yes. PYH provides a link to software that you can download to assist you to recalculate the file size before uploading images. Please note that this may also change the size of the picture.
 
 
 
 
10. I've just uploaded an image for my virtual tour and I don't see how to upload another image?
Once you have uploaded (saved) an image for your virtual tour, a bread crumb will appear just above the orange labeled tabs. It will have your user name, then the listing name. Click on the listing name and you will be taken to the listing, then click on the image tab. You will now see the images you have already uploaded and can upload another image.
 
 
 
 
11. Will I be able to manage my Virtual Tours/houses myself?
Yes, PYH provides a Virtual Tour management tool which allows you to manage your account as well as each Virtual Tour.
 
 
 
12. How much does PYH cost?
There is an annual fee of $240 payable by credit card through PayPal.
 
 
 
13. Do I have to have a PayPal account?
No, PayPal accepts most credit card charges with out having to have a PayPal account.
 
 
 
 
14. Who can view my Virtual Tours?
Anyone with an internet connection, that is running a current version of Internet Explorer or FireFox should be able to view a PYH Virtual Tour.
 
 
 
 
15. Can I search for a home on PYH?
Yes. PostYourHome.com maintains a searchable database of all its virtual tours.
 
 
 
 
16. Do I have to have an internet connection to view my homes on PYH?
Yes, using internet technology enables you to effectively market your property globally!
 
 
 
 
17. Do I have to have an internet connection to create my virtual tours?
Yes. In order to upload or manage your properties you will need an internet connection and a current version of Internet Explorer or FireFox (browser software).
 
 
 
 
 
18. How can PYH help the Real Estate professional cater to the "Perspective Client"?
PYH clients have the ability to build a tour and sponsor it for the prospective client. As a added function, when the perspective client becomes a client of the agent, the agent unchecks the s"Sponsorship"  checkbox to display the agents contact information in the sponsored tour.
 
 
 
 
19. What do you mean by “Sponsor a Perspective Client”?
PYH has created a sponsorship program which enables clients to create a virtual tour of a home without using their branded interface. All of the functionality is still available while the interface displays the Real Estate professional’s name and agency as the sponsor of the tour.
 
 
 
 
No, once the virtual tour has been created for the "Sponsored Tour" , the PYH client/agent can transfer all the information to their branded interface by unchecking the sponsored check box located under the orange tab labeled "General" of the specific listing.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
21. Can I email a link to a virtual tour to somebody?
Yes, go to the specific listing that you want to get the url for and click on the orange URL tab. There you can highlight the complete url, do a right mouse button and copy the url. Then go to your email client (i.e. Outlook) and paste the link in. Each virtual tour has a uniqueid number so you can copy and paste as many tour urls as you like into one email.
 
 
 
 
22. Help, I hit something and now I don't know where I am. How do I get back so I can edit my account/tours?
 
If you will scroll up to the top of the page, in the upper right hand corner you will see the "Purchase/Edit Profile" link. Select this link, if you are logged into your account, you will be returned to your Edit Profile.
